I was born and raised in Shenzhen, and finished high school there. Outside class I was drawing, making things, playing soccer, listening to music and reading, and slowly started asking why places work the way they do.

Design Intern: AI and Stable Diffusion
Still in high school, I worked with the Director of Design to prototype a repeatable sketch-to-render process and evaluate where generative AI could support early architectural visualization.

Architecture became a systems discipline.
At Carnegie Mellon I study architecture. The project that shaped me most is the Sankofa Bamboo Greenhouse in Homewood: bamboo joinery research as a SURA research assistant, leading a 14-student fabrication team as a TA, and now carrying it toward full-scale construction as a project designer.

AIA COTE Top Ten winner.
RE.SERV.OIR, my 2026 design studio project, won the AIA COTE Top Ten for Students competition, run by the AIA Committee on the Environment and ACSA for design and sustainability. The competition names ten winners each year: two at the Foundation Level and eight at the Upper Level. RE.SERV.OIR was one of the two Foundation Level winners across North America.
An additional major in Human-Computer Interaction turned my interest in how people move and decide into interfaces. I have just joined the Business Technology Group’s Product Studio as a Product Designer.
The timeline is still open.
Today I work between disciplines: architecture gives me a way to think in systems, HCI keeps those systems human, and product thinking helps move them into reality.
